Was very civil with my q, what is the problem with bsv! -

The problem with BSV (Bitcoin SV) is that it shares all address formats with BCH (Bitcoin Cash), making it difficult to distinguish which network an address was generated for between the two. This means that if a recipient address was previously used on another network, you cannot determine whether it is subject to address reuse without requesting confirmation or another address from the recipient. Additionally, the original p2pkh and p2sh addresses are valid on all three networks (BTC, BCH, and BSV), so there is no way to determine which network an address was intended for just from the address itself.

As for the use of BSV, it utilizes the same POW (Proof of Work) algorithm as Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH), which is SHA256. However, there are some differences in implementation between BSV and BCH. For example, P2SH (Pay to Script Hash) has been deprecated on BSV after the Genesis upgrade on February 4th, 2020.

It's worth mentioning that there are tools available, such as Electron Cash, that can assist with splitting coins between BCH and BSV. These tools allow users to connect to both BCH and BSV servers and facilitate the splitting process. It is recommended to only send transactions among your own addresses during the splitting process to minimize the risk of losing any funds. After splitting, it is important to wait and verify that the coins have different transaction IDs to ensure successful separation.
