But I may have misunderstood so I will elaborate.
I just wanted to give a quote, but it turned out to be a quote + reply.
As far as I know, that is what happens when you reply on Amethyst and then immediately quote.
This time I tried to reply and stopped and did a quote. Then it turned into a quote + reply.
