So they can pretend that in unforeseeable future they might be better than bitcoin. All of the shitcoins narratives, no matter what they are promising you as the use case, are just trying to trick you they're as good as bitcoin and then they will be even better. If there wasn't real gold no one would've tried to create fake gold. If there's is one true prophet there will be thousands of false prophets. There wouldn't be any shitcoins without bitcoin.
