How did I get into a "debate" with a I-don't-even-know-what-he/she-is (so I can't even say shitcoiner) for the first time online and it's not even on Twitter? It's in one of my health/detox group.

It all started when the owner of the group said something negative about crypto and that people instead should band together and short hedge funds to have patents of cures released. Then people started arguing and getting nasty fast. I just commented under one that said what we need is something decentralized with fast payment. So of course I said "that already exists, it's called Bitcoin on the lightning network".

But then of course, this who-knows-what-he/she-is responded that "no, it's too slow and expensive and El Salvador already showed why lightening network is a failure". 😂 When I saw that, I immediately understood why they say don't argue with someone who spells lightning "lightening".

I guess it's a good thing Bitcoin or at least crypto is being talked about in different circles??

And my encounter with people who can't acknowledge facts ends here. (Yes, people who call lightning slow and expensive are people who can't acknowledge facts. Just like this guy I met IRL who said "always follow the money and the money clearly leads to anti-vax sentiment". That's when you realize you can't talk to them if they skipped their medicine for the day.)

Back to Zen state.
