The nailing your ass to the wall part is as much about lawbreaking as anything else.

In all likelihood the pressures against private wallets and mixing will increase quite a bit.

The key is being mobile. Moving your wealth to friendly jurisdictions gives you protection and it puts pressure on those oppressive governments to ease regulations.
