i am i my mid 40s. i started dieting when i was 12. took me decades before i really understood the subject. i am still failing but at least i am now failing due to lack of motivation rather than due to rookie mistakes.
when it comes to dopamine fasting / digital detoxing i first heard about it a couple years ago but dismissed it. i then first tried it maybe a bit over a year ago and had some encouraging results ...
but now i see it is just like how my first diet went when i was 12 - it was a success - but then i relapsed - then i went on a series of Yo-Yo cycles and so on where gradually over the decades my understanding has improved
it seems my dopamine fasting / digital detox will follow the same pattern of trial and error with Yo-Yo results but gradually improving understanding of what i am doing
the struggle is real
