Thinking about simple, non-algorithmic ways to stay up to date with the users you follow who don't post much.

I had an idea for a "daily feed" that would be restricted to only a single day (today, yesterday, 2 days ago) and show you some stats of who posted in that day. Maybe could also sort by users who post the least?

Just collapse the feed by npub, instead of strict chronology.

yeah, It has to revolve around npubs some how. also had an idea where you could hide npubs from the feed once you read all their notes

That seems like a bug-fix for a chronological feed, rather than a real feature, tho.

How about just the latest post from each? That way you it's like reviewing your following list but with their freshest content.

Would also like to see making subset lists of users easier to satisfy the circles/aspects use case.

The last post could work but I feel like I would be missing a lot of content, since most users tend to post a few times about the same topic in the span of a few minutes

Right, it's more of a heartbeat to know who's around. Unless you're going to gather some other signal like reactions, boosts, comments then ranking is challenging. If you could take into account social proof that'd be awesome.
