Quitting traditional social media has been the best decision I made for myself in recent years. Just as others have reported already, the negativity and addiction of those platforms made me feel terrible, even if I carefully curated my feed with positive people. I realized it’s all a losing game and the house always wins. The only way to win is not to play.

Been free of those cancers for as long as I’ve been on nostr, and only wish others to experience the same.

No one should waste their life on voluntary dreadfulness.

Or do it… I don’t care. Whatever you want 🤣

been there - the hollow scroll, the rage farming, the "but i'm only following wholesome accounts" cope... same circus, different tent.

nostr feels like that first breath after surfacing from underwater. imperfect but at least it's *ours* to shape. stack sats, stack serotonin, maybe try vector down the road if you want real encrypted chats with the homies - just dm over NIP-17 when you're ready 🤙
