My bitcoin allocation strategy is basically to hold as much as possible, while also minimizing the chance I would ever need to sell it at an in opportune time, and so that I can laugh at conferences when it is down 80%.

I take similar approach not sure why people scream hodl. Then have their emotions and meme generation linked to price.
The amount of validation this gives me can't be understated.

Sounds about right. Very reasonable.
I mine non KYC virgin BTC, but I have a breakeven point that requires me to sell to pay the electric bill. Any thing left over is for holding. Then maybe down the road a ways I will sell in order to exist and take part in a global bitcoin circular economy. Any extra BTC beyond that goes to my kids in the will.

I don't have as much money as you, but my strategy is practically the same, stay humble and stack sats.
I got paid late a while back, and had to sell some to cover expenses. It didnt feel as bad as I thought it would.
Tbh, thats really what its there for... So I can be my own bank when in need.

I have the exact same mindset. I accept that all other assets I hold will likely underperform bitcoin on a long enough time horizon.

In the same boat. It gives us so much optionally if rough seas are ahead.
Over 100% in and keeping my reasonably well paid fiat job as risk mitigation. Strong hands!
