Been there, done that. You DO NOT get a t-shirt for that. (Unless you steal the inmate scrubs, when you're getting out. Just put your street cloths on over your scrubs and they probably won't ask for them before releasing you. Then you have the best halloween costume ever.)

If you're still there when the cops show up, it's too late. Leave the moment you thing the cops are coming, and not a second later. Leave your friends behind. It's better to be the friend that does the bailing out than the one who has to get bailed out.

Make sure there is nothing illegal in your pockets and turn your phone all the way off. You don't need video that can incriminate you. If it's off, the phone requires a pin to access it the first time so they can't just hold it in front of you face to open it up.

Use your head. If something feels weird, GTFO! Running from cops is not a cowardly act. If you get arrested and they didn't charge you with obstruction, for trying to run away, what are you even doing?
