God will always protect His people no matter what the evil plans. Becoming "His people" is not trivial though. Lots of emotional work, mental work, lots of resetting the ego. Getting out of echo chambers, comfort zones and even your lands. Not enough to cling on to gurus, gurus will fail one by one. He will remind that He is the source, not anybody else. Spiritual leaders will take one to false hills, where one will need to get back on the sea level to start searching for the Mountain.
