I dont see how you use this with PC 2.0.

It lets people pay a lightning invoice from the cash balance in CashApp so they don't need sats which is cool. Other than that it's nothing new besides an easier payment methods since the payer doesn't need sats.

I guess my ultimate question is if they'll allow final settlement as btc. As in, payer sends usd, receiver gets btc. That would significantly enable #DeMu adoption in a massive way.

It should. That's how strike has always worked when paying from the cash balance.

Strike wallet is iffy. It always works on strike's side and the sats leave my wallet. 50/50 shot if they make it to the helipad... streaming sats seem to work but those have never made it all the way across...

They won't because Helipad only sees keysend payments sent to the node it runs on.

Also Strike doesn't do keysend.

I'm think of this CashApp change more as your a musician and you present a QR or lightning address and tell fans they can send money to this with CashApp now and you get sats instead of dollars but this isn't anything new tbh. I've been sending CashApp donations to YouTubers to get around superchat fees for years now.

Nothing new here but this is another tool we have on hand now.
