I did the staircase thing also in the mid 90s to annoy my parents. I was turning the TV off. I thought it was hilarious 😂 they didn't enjoy it that much. Thankfully I didn't hurt myself but now thinking back, the same could have happened to me. These TVs were working like donkeys! Made to last
