how would it? doesn't it only connect to its caching relay?

No you can still connect directly to relays that option exists. You have to turn off enhanced privacy.

But for some reason I am unable to connect to my relay.

I believe Primal web works but not mobile. And it’s not clear why.

Whats the point of the caching relay then? Pretty sure it only uses the caching relay for reading and uses the relay list for writing from what i understand.

I dunno how primal works, I don't think it even connects to relays

Thanks. It does connect to relays if you want.

But even the cashing service isn’t able to connect to Aegis. Which is strange.

I think primal web works fine.
