Ask Janice: What can I do about my son’s exam results?

We knew he hated school but thought that he was at least trying with some subjects. He wants to leave as he says he has no interest in studying. He is a clever lad, but without qualifications how does he stand a chance in securing a job? We are at our wits’ end and have run out of motivational chats and suggestions.
