Just compared following and follower count on Amethyst, Ditto, Primal and Coracle. Verified all relays consistent and get totally different numbers. The only social media I did pre nostr was Faceache until around 2012 when my feed went mad. I've therefore never truly understood this whole influencer nonsense but appreciate their need for consistent metrics to try to monetise people. Seeing zero consistency on nostr is extremely satisfying and hope it continues! 🙄

Like seriously, who cares. Engage, try to add some form of value, learn, don't be an asshole, and have a little fun. Surely this is what social media should have been about in the first place.
