I could see a carve out for the military but only Captains and below in rank. Admirals and such can go pound sand.
Maybe just a sign "Government employees not welcome". I've thought about this. Unfortunately, business licenses give government the ability to shut you down. Trying a sign like that might just get a license renewal revoked.
States are more involved in whether a business gets/keeps a license to operate. I think a sign saying Federal Employees. State guys would be welcome.
