How many hours do you need to homeschool a day? Thanks!
Hours? Minutes if you're objective is to impart the knowledge public schools impart.
The reality is that children are always learning.
There is no vacation for homeschool kids & parents.
Yes 💜 a lot of the educational time outside of the book work is time we’d already be spending doing things together with our family and other families and friends.
On average, I spend probably 2-3 hrs a day with him on actual book work. This was 1st grade level. We also have him in piano lessons which is one day a week for the lesson plus his practice time each day for that. And we have him in a local group with some other families that do crafts, activities, outings, etc., and that meets 2-3 times a month for a couple hours at a time, depending on the activity.
*piano lesson is 30 minutes one day each week
