During a safari trip in South Africa in 2021, a Dutch man made the decision to use the toilet, which ultimately proved to be the worst decision of his life.

Unbeknownst to the man, a cobra was lurking in the toilet bowl. Upon sitting down, the cobra lunged and bit the man's genitals.

The 47-year-old victim suffered scrotal necrosis and was immediately flown to the nearest trauma center 200 miles away.

He had to undergo reconstructive surgery on his penis after the snake bite caused it to rot.

His medical report stated: “The defect in the penile shaft was treated by superficial debridement and a vacuum assisted closure pump. After 9 days, the patient was repatriated to the Netherlands”.
