No centralised platform owned by a corporation with a CEO can ever provide a truly censorship resistant platform as it'll always be forced to follow censorship laws and be subject to the whims of the leader and private conflicts of interest such as the ones pointed out here.

Only a decentralised network without a leader can offer a truly censorship resistant platform.

If Elon truly cared about censorship he would make Twitter a decentralised network like Nostr but he hasn't and he won't because he wants control and ownership over one of the world's largest social media platforms.
