its been a while but there should be tons of settings to play with in the emulator, usually someone else has already put in the work to figure out how to make games stable/run at decent frames

Yeah I gave that a shot based on some reddit threads and a few youtube videos but no dice. It improved things but from unplayable to slightly less unplayable.
