Zaps are cool and unique. I don't understand the complaint. Many people have had the experience of using, sending, or receiving bitcoin for the first time through Nostr.

Zaps also incentivize higher quality posts, discussions, and ideas.

Value for Value makes perfect sense in an age of social media where attention is scarce and quality is hard to find.

But to each their own I guess.
