The complicated and often disgusting traits and fatal flaws of character with the time to develop into someone you almost root for are my favorites.

Samey and agenda focused is a good way to put it. They just instantly kill it before anything can breath—everything must be smothered with preachy woke agenda or completely unrealistic motivations. The Crown is a standout in my mind right now as one of the most well-written, acted and shot shows of the current era. I couldn’t really care less about the royals, but the show is just so well done.
Apple should stick to the screensavers, because those are damn good! Don’t let any of their writers anywhere near it and the quality will soar.
