me too! birdies are worth getting excited over! i've had several eagles over the years, mostly on par 5s. though my absolute favorite eagle was when i was 16 or so and rolled my drive on #1 at my club and holed out my second shot from 180 yards away. my cousin was busting my balls for hitting such a bad drive. i showed him 😉
I was on a par 4 but left my drive in the rough to the left. When I reached my ball it was sitting up and I saw only one shot to the hole. Flushed it straight at the green with a 5 iron and watched it bounce and run between two bunkers, up the green funnelled left and stopped 2 foot from the hole! 🐦⛳️😎
