My half Jersey/ half angus future milk cow calf is really causing me frustration. She either digs her heels in or does the Jersey flop every time we try halter training. 😡

Have you tried a loop of rope threaded through the halter ring and run around her behind? We used to do that with halter training foals. Something strange that squeezes their bum when they balk, works pretty well. It sure beats a tug or war with a big critter.
I haven’t. My daughter pushes her from behind and she moves so that makes sense!
