Yes I assumed that that's the case, but then it's like bitcoin is my politics, which doesn't make a lot of sense to me..

Sure bitcoin will impact politics a LOT, but it won't solve nearly as many human issues as bitcoiners hope and so bitcoin isn't really a political philosophy which makes bitcoiners look kind of ignorant saying that bitcoin is their politics 🙈

Aaanyways maybe I'm just becoming a boomer and really should mute my politics for a week or two

I think bitcoin is inherently political because money/power/wealth is inherently political.

Bitcoin has no politics . If it did then only the Syrians would have it here

I agree but I still think it will not solve problems political problems stemming from human nature (eg war which was also fought on a gold standard or should we allow influencers to scam stupid people with meme coins? Legalize drugs?)

So bitcoin is my politics sounds to me like guns is my politics.. I kind of get it, but it doesn't make a lot of sense either

The meme is not really that bitcoin is my politics, but that the aesthetics of the world bitcoin will create are my politics
