The Dutch Parliamentary committee for Justice & Security demanded that the cabinet (administration) shares the advice they received from various departments about #ChatControl. They want this before the minister votes in favor of it in the EU. And because the current cabinet is a clusterfuck, they agree to do this. That would never have happened under teflon Rutte. And it's a good thing.

That said, this is in start constrast with how Parliament behaved yesterday when they banned cash. It goes to show that they don't recognize financial privacy as a human right, or at least don't understand the overlap between financial mass surveillance and communication mass surveillance. But both are equally dangerous.

Thanks, added to the "thread" (it may look a bit messy from the Mastodon side, because of how the bridge to Nostr works).

There is no stopping until absolute surveillance and control

The EU chat control, CBDC, cash ban, mass surveillance etc for the pleps except for the elites. Gone is democracy & freedom, the EU is a totalitarian institution
