That's terrible. Health insurers are serial thieves. I tell you from experience because in fact I am a doctor and I have worked for the private system. I don't currently do that, I work for the public system.
When you are young they make you a young plan of very little money because you never use the insurance. But when you are older and really need it, they make you expensive and usually inaccessible plans. Anything that can help your mom Pablo I'm just a DM away. Big hug.
