Framed #690 (yes. I enjoyed it. I watched episode one of The Man in The High Castle. I'm in a hurry today so I'm trying not to get diverted into talking about several aspects of it that bugged me. It was good show, they're not really aimed at the show, just how by making out the Nazis to be great at science it's ignoring the German Empire's education and intellectual achievements and giving too much credit to batshit racists. Everyone stands on the shoulders of giants - except it seems in popular coverage of the Nazis which often avoids the context of the academic and intellectual freedoms which they hijacked like trematodes and led into the abyss. I'm greatly summarising my rant. They weren't special they were parasites that nearly killed their host.)
