Discussion
By the way, I am new in the space, and I don't want to recommend something out of ignorance. I am interested in hearing what you and others think of it, and if there is anything similar out there, any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Cryptpad is ugly and not super performant. Better off recommending NextCloud or Anytype
I like AnyType as well, and I am using NextCloud for contacts, calendar, etc.
I tried using and paying for cryptopad and it just doesn’t work.
Thanks for sharing your feedback.
I tried the free option, and I am happy with it. Was able to create docs and share links with others.
What issues did you experience?
Takes forever to load, doesn’t load reliably, loses data, is very slow to run. And all for a bunch of encrypted stuff which makes the software hard to build and optimize and wasn’t needed for my use case. It’s slow buggy software. Browsers aren’t good at the encryption that cryptpad tries to do.
