The incentives on Nostr are unique compared to other social media:

1. You can’t get kicked off or canceled, so you are incentivized to speak the truth, not the party line.

2. You can’t block anyone from replying to your notes, you can only hide them from your feed, so the power of echo chambers is greatly reduced.

3. You can’t delete your posts, so you are incentivized to be a bit more thoughtful with your words.

4. No ad revenue is possible, but instant peer to peer zaps are abundant, so we are all incentivized to create value and reward the value of others
