Our culture has been switched from raising boys that girls want, to instead raising boys employers want (to work late in the office and spend money on ephemeral dopamine rewards).

That took generations to accomplish, and probably will take generations to reverse.

In the here and now, though, i think you might pretend you're a Scandinavian girl and ask boys out.
