Individuals selling their bitcoin has some nuance to it:

some folks who see btc as an investment will undoubtedly cash out at some point

but long-time hodlers selling a bit here and there for expenses is not the same thing, and it won't significantly shift ownership - especially if some purchases can happen within the btc circular economy.
