people who would have gotten a fiat job are working on freedom tech

people who are working a fiat job are jumping to work on freedom tech

thanks nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m and nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc

5m from nostr:npub10pensatlcfwktnvjjw2dtem38n6rvw8g6fv73h84cuacxn4c28eqyfn34f is more capital efficient than a 5m series A from any VC. They can basically sponsor 100 developers to work creatively for the same ecosystem. A fiat company needs 10m at least to hire 100 devs, the good ones. Of course, nostr:npub12262qa4uhw7u8gdwlgmntqtv7aye8vdcmvszkqwgs0zchel6mz7s6cgrkj s concern is also valid, it is more transparent to share the numbers. And, it is more important to deliver as developers. At end of the day, only user satisfaction matters. It’s lots of responsibility to receive a grant and to deliver.

Yeah, and the massive difference is that an open source grant is to fuel what developers were doing for free / at a cost, whereas a mercenary solely engages in the work in exchange for compensation but would rather be doing something else.

Austrian economics applied to development 😂
