Is WoS down? How does a wallet go down?? Doesn’t seem secure. What other options are there?

WoS is custodial. They hold the bitcoins. So their node could indeed go under and make it not secure for all its users. There's some non-custodial options & plethora of custodial options.

They do not list LND nor C-Lightning which are full nodes (where some of the listed wallets can connect to) Word of advice on Muun: It used on-chain transactions for sending & in my experience it cannot accept some lightning invoices because the good people at Muun act as LSP's when you receive on lightning... complicated but beside the point. What I want to repeat is the on-chain part. Slow send times & high fees.
