That's interesting, I already do this but with usdt tether instead of USD.
No taxes, I'm not selling it I'm just swapping it between other crypto currencies on an exchange and withdrawing the sats to spend as money/save rather than selling it for currency.
Yeah, basically everybody that buys bitcoin is shorting their currency.
