My 13 yo was babysitting three kids today and had a tiny mishap. Tripped on stairs and put her arm through a window. She self triaged and applied pressure. Calmed the three kids and reassured them while calling for assistance. 11 stitches later she’s doing well and the kids aren’t aware of the severity of her injury.

Tough kids will grow to be tough adults for tough times.

Thankful it wasn’t worse and damn proud of how she handled herself.
