Hearing people talk about Lightning as it's some taboo or unused tool at Pacific Bitcoin is weird. If these people used Nostr, they'd realize that some people use Lightning to send and receive payments thousands of times a day - just themselves. These people to move beyond "Lightning Theory" and embrace "Lightning Uses".

That’s so weird. To be a bitcoiner and not use Lightning is strange.

Nostr normalizes the usage of Lightning also through paid relays and other services like nostr.build.

But even before Nostr, I pay the weekly allowance to my kids with Lightning invoices.

i get it though. back in december, january, and february, i onboarded dozens and dozens of people that were hardcore bitcoiners but never used lightning. nostrplebs.com was their first lightning transaction ever. 🤯
