Ahh! I cant use signal on Nix since even in the unstable repo it doesnt have the latest version of the app so it wont work

All they have is a debian install

If #Debian doesn't have it then there's not much chance it'll be available elsewhere (except for the flatpack, which is apparently available, as mentioned in another comment).
