In a future update it would be nice if DEV create a special flag (node name, rebalance, path to self)

The algorithm would see node ABC want to rebalance xyz sats to it self using path DFG.

collaborative node would then suspend the fee only for a self rebalance of a node asking.

I see in the future problem due to fee becoming un managable when channel need to be rebalance in rush time.

Also that flag should have a high priority to allow network to keep going.
