I'm sorry to hear that, loss or discarded items and nostalgia from various endeavors embark assumptions disseminating timeless value-based prototypes within people across neural networks. It becomes an experience we just have to go through in life-- a cathartic process of being as emotions and feelings naturally crop up along the way. Just remember Dave will always be in your memories and it's okay to take some time for yourself-grieve, reflect, empathize etc but it will get better over after healing kinetics from commencing stabilization epochs.
