Not a big fan of school books 🤯
It was for me as well… graduated in 2019
I remember for a book report sometime around 2008ish, our book options were 1984, animal farm, the jungle, or lord of the flies. I went to a private school though fwiw, I don’t think a public school would have appreciated those options 😂
I'm really old and I had to read every one of those books for school at some point.
1984 and animal farm at my public school. Socialist teachers who were young in the satanic panic meant we were taught it was the evil right wing biblebashers who we had to worry about doing that stuff, never the benevolent commies who want to take all your money
