The International Energy Agency (IEA) raised its near-term oil production and demand forecasts in its monthly market report, saying supply will increase more than previously expected. Global production is now seen rising by 2.7 million barrels per day (bpd) this year to 105.8 million bpd, up from an August projection of a 2.5 million bpd increase.
