🌊 SURF 'N TURF 🏝️

-THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE-

One of the most stunning spaces in London: the Fitzrovia Chapel.

Built from 1891, it was designed by the Gothic Revival architect John Loughborough Pearson, as the chapel for the Middlesex Hospital.

It was never fully consecrated but was ‘dedicated’ in Feb 1939 by the Archbishop of Canterbury who described it as ‘one of the most beautiful hospital chapels in the realm’.

The hospital around it was closed in 2005 and demolished in 2008. The chapel was the only part that was kept.

Today you can hire of the space for events and they have regular open days and times to visit. You can find out more here: https://livinglondonhistory.com/the-fitzrovia-chapel-an-amazing-hidden-jewel/
