one of the most ridiculous concepts in modern science is the dyson sphere

anyone living inside one would be dying of cancer within days

most of the energy would go into shielding, and negate the whole point of it

Imagine building a dyson sphere, but still not knowing why cancer cells misbehave like they do. Puts the cart way before the horse.
