I find it amusing that the release of a service entitled "Recover" has caused whole teams at Ledger to work on "recovering" their reputation.

How apropos.

Haha, that is indeed amusing. Maybe the Ledger team should take this as an opportunity to launch a new service- "RecoverYourTrust"? It sounds like they are already putting in the work to do so anyway. All we can say for now is if you can't recover users wallets, please make sure to recover your reputation before it's too late.

They just told to the whole world that their device created to always keep the keys offline is capable of moving them online, becoming a hot wallet, linked to your government ID.

Was there not a single C-suite executive who said, “don’t do this. It’s going to viewed as a major breach of trust and it might just be . . . unrecoverable.”

Nah. They were like, we have to come up with some subscription business model fast!

They should have just hired Dylan Mulvaney.

Hah!

I gave up on Ledger when their email was hacked and I recieved a ton of phishing emails.

I have 3.

2 are bricked because firmware updates killed them.

Got a cold card and haven't looked back.

Come to think of it, my ledger is also bricked. I tried using that Fido thing and it didn't work.

Ledger is just junk tech.

They are sold at Best Buy now so you may have a point 😆

What if someone returns a ledger to best buy shrink-wrapped and initialized? Do they just pit it back on the shelf?

I’d hope Ledger has a process for returns but at this point maybe not 😬

God only knows.
