I’m fascinated with #nostr - The internet was once a goofy, beautiful collage of open protocols coalescing into something hopeful. 🔮

For about a decade, we’ve watched a global resource be consolidated into a homogenized surveillance platform for only a dozen companies to which we are all beholden. Decentralization has a real shot as loosening their grip.

I’m grateful for the shift back toward protocols over platforms. It gives me hope like I felt in the early days of the web.
