6 months ago, I was let go of my job. It was due to RIF and it was 5 days after Christmas and my Dad’s birthday. My dad died 6 days later.

These last 6 months have seen me work through pain, stress, sadness, worry, hurt, anger, despondency, and just general fear.

Lesson 1:

You don’t get to stop being a parent through it all.
