Just stop using iPhone and start using Android phones god damn it.
Apple’s going to allow sideloading of apps on to iOS but with lots of limitations.
The app developer has to be in the EU, the user has to be in the EU, they’ve got to have been an apple app developer for over 2 years, and to have over a million installs of your app. Plus a ton of other requirements…. This is the definition of malicious compliance: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malicious_compliance

The funny thing is seeing many absolutely ANGRY at the EU for requiring Apple to allow sideloading at all.
They are really pissed Apple won't restrict what they do with their devices just as much as they used to.

You don't need to make things complicated god damn it.
I mean you do gotta make it clear that this isn't about supporting one company over another.
The iPhone vs Android dichotomy is made out to be a coke vs Pepsi dichotomy. Their rivalry only serves to get their fans to dig their heels further and onlookers to forget they weren't interested in either.
Making the clear distinction about an open platform vs an abusive company (rather than 2 abusive companies) is an important point to make I think.
I never said that i am supporting neither these two companies.
What i mean from the "make things complicated" was how enough it was from using an android phone that's already ready out of the box without doing lot of hardworks such as custom rom-ing. For most users that's already enough.
