LotR is so good that you can often tell what part of the movie is just from hearing the soundtrack, it’s on a whole other level imo
Yeah that's probably my favorite, use different tracks for focus or relaxing or being amped
There are also renditions on YouTube that make for good ambiance. Not sure the music quality is as high as the OST but they're fun

I could recognize all of James Horners pieces as a kid because he had a reoccuring theme and feel to them. I rarely listen to music these days but if I do, I choose soundtracks almost every time.
Some of my favorites were A Beautiful Mind, Casper, and The Count of Monte Cristo by E. Shearmur
